On Sunday Novak Djokovic defeated rival Andy Murray in the Australian Open men’s singles final, winning the tournament for the third time in a row, the first man in the Open Era of tennis to do so. Djokovic is now in a three-way tie with Andre Agassi and Roger Federer for the most Australian Open wins, with four. Djokovic has won six Grand Slam Championships.
Victoria Azarenka won the women’s singles final, her second Australian Open title in a row, and her second grand slam finals victory. In the Open Era of tennis, the woman with the most Australian Open Women’s Singles titles is Serena Williams, with five.
